Archive for February, 2010
Excuse me while I brag for a bit.. David has put music on hold for the month of February and has moved to another form of artist expression.. cinema! He’s starring in an independent film called All The Same Things.
This is a movie about Dallas, music, and desire. It’s based on the idea that ‘Love ceases to be a demon only when he ceases to be a god.’ I’m not going to give anything away but just know that David will still be displaying his incredible music talent. Keep your eyes peeled for the release sometime this summer!
A few weeks ago, I went to Dallas to shoot some behind the scenes photos.. It was truly amazing to get to see David act.. I’m super proud of him! This whole crew has done an amazing job and I literally cannot wait to see the final product. I’ve never done a shoot like this but I’m happy with the way they turned out.. I’d love to hear what you think.
Meet Bekah, the second Wesley sister. You can see Micah’s pictures here. Bekah is absolutely gorgeous as well so of course I snagged some photos of her. Now I just gotta get Sarah Beth back from Orlando so I can completely my collection of the Wesley sisters!
Meet Micah.. my best friend’s youngest sister. She’s basically amazing, like their entire family. Her and Bekah (the middle Wesley sister) came over to my house over Christmas to help me with a little project and I snapped a few shots of each of them. I absolutely love the way Micah’s gorgeous red hair and yellow shirt look against the dreary background behind my house. Thanks for coming to play, love!
I loooove the way her hair looks with the “Faded (winter)” action from TRA.
I got to know George and Rachel pretty well this past summer through some musical friends of mine. Rachel and I spent many days swimming, eating Jim Jims, and having good conversation. We even took a trip to NYC together when George and David were touring the country. Unfortunately, these two kids are full time students so I didn’t get to see them much in the fall. Luckily, I found a way to convince them to hang out with me.. a Mini Love Session!
It was certainly short but sweet but I was happy to see these two. Enjoy!
George is an incredible bass player and thus, the bass made an appearance! ![]()

I love that Rachel brought along cupcakes.

And just for the heck of it.. this mini love session is now going to take a creepy turn..

Haley and I are long-time family friends but it’s been forever since we’ve seen each other. So I was pretty excited when she asked me to shoot her engagement session with Chris. We headed to downtown Richmond/Rosenberg.. I always get them mixed up.. for a sweet little Sunday afternoon session. Haley looked beautiful as always and they both endured the wind and the cold like champs. Thanks to Natalie for coming along with me and helping out!

You can never go wrong with a railroad track.
Maybe one of my favorite little series ever.
I’ve been working on this project for a few months now. It took a back seat after the holidays but I just wanted to share an image. Hope you like it.
When Sarah told me she and Andy were spending their first night as husband and wife at Hotel St. Cecilia , I begged her to let me come photograph them. Lucky me, they agreed and so I got to go over the next afternoon. They were in Suite 4 which is EPIC.. as you’ll see..
